Exhibit 2020 - Experiential Design, Interactive Experience

INTERACTIVE EXHIBIT

An offsite exhibit for executives and upper management was created to encourage participants to explore the year’s top initiatives and new technologies. For 2020, the theme was Accelerating Our Clean Energy Future and a key piece of this brief was to incorporate the concept of a letter from the future.

It is important to note that local efforts for a clean energy future could be felt worldwide, for this reason the entirety of the exhibit floorspace was overlayed with a vinyl wrap to show a world split by day and night. The entrance to the exhibit was encased by two large walls and a graphic floor, creating a tunnel effect designed to make visitors start their journey passing through a glacier in Antartica. Directly ahead was a 360-degree circular display, visually representing the wind currents and displaying animated text portions of the letter from the future in a constant loop. Placed around the radius were several structural displays, creating dedicated informational and experiential spaces for high-profile initiatives. These initiatives included a virtual reality ride aboard a drone, a high efficiency induction cooktop kitchen with live cooking demos, and an electric vehicle hub including a rapid car charger on display.
